PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial tire for an aircraft with improved belt durability. SOLUTION: This radial tire for an aircraft has a carcass layer 1 comprising a pair of bead cores and at least one carcass ply extending from one to the other of a pair of the bead cores in a toroid-like manner, at least one main belt layer 2 obtained by spirally winding rubber-coated non-extensible cord on a crown area outer periphery outside the carcass layer 1 in the tire radial direction, and a plurality of sub-belt layers 3 bent in a same plane and extending in a tire peripheral direction in a zig-zag manner, so that ribbon-like treats made of a rubber-coated nylon cord are inclined in opposite directions on width ends. A treat 5 made of the rubber-coated cord is arranged between the layers on the width ends of the main belt layer 2 and the sub-belt layer 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
