PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a token dispenser capable of reducing consumption of electricity and components, advancing the start of rotation of a belt, and eliminating a cause of clogging with tokens by avoiding concentration of tokens at one position on the belt. SOLUTION: A driving control means 280 starts conveyance on the belt 53 of a belt conveying part 200 after the input of a bill detection signal, and the conveyance by the belt conveying part 200 is stopped in the elapse of prescribed time after the dispensing of tokens from a token dispensing part 25 is finished.
