The synthetic vessel is of cross-section tapering towards, the bottom and particularly for the packing of foodstuffs, having a stacking shoulder formed on the sidewall. The sidewall has recesses opposite each other, wide enough for the insertion of fingers to allow it to be pulled out of the stack, and which form protrusions(8, 8') extending inside the vessel. The recesses can be of curved, trapezium or rectangular section, and they can be of constant width for their entire height, while the sum of their widths can be equal to more than a quarter of the vessel periphery.
