The lid (1) for a fold-down seat for a toilet incorporates a prismatic container used for storing products for the maintenance of the toilet. The sides of the container have the same shape as the toilet pan. Vertical (3) and horizontal (4) partitions form compartments (10) in the container. One of the vertical partitions (5) has hinges on for two doors which open inwards to prevent them opening accidentally when the lid is down. The compartments may possess a dispenser which at cutting edge and slot for the paper inside.
