<p>In a function selection operation using a hierarchical menu, a user can easily learn a method for function selection by operating the ten-key unit. A mobile telephone terminal (100) includes a cross key (31), a ten-key unit (32), process selection means (2) for selecting a process according to operation of the cross key and outputting alternative operation information (400) indicating a method of alternative operation input of the selection operation, a process execution unit (5) for executing a process according to the selection result of the process selection means (2), an LCD (6) displaying a menu screen, a ten-key unit backlight (41), a sound source module (42), a speaker (43), an alternative operation presentation control unit (40), and switching means (49). When a menu item selection operation is performed by the cross key (31), the alternative operation presentation control unit (40) changes the ON/OFF state of the ten-key unit backlight (41) and the sound state of the sound source module according to the alternative operation information (400), so that the user can intuitionally know which key of the ten-key unit is to be pressed.</p> |
