Described is a system comprising a computing device detachably coupled to an input arrangement. Upon authenticating a user, a corresponding user profile is retrieved from a memory module and uploaded into at least one of the device and the arrangement. The profile stores user's preferences for inputting dat a via the input arrangement. The memory module is situated in at least one of the device and the arrangement.
