POSITIVE ELECTRODE FOR THIN FILM BATTERY AND THIN FILM BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode for a thin film battery suppressing the deterioration of a negative active material thin film and preventing drop in battery capacity, and to provide the thin film battery using the positive electrode.

SOLUTION: The positive electrode for the thin film battery has a positive active material thin film 4 facing the negative active material thin film 2. In order to suppress the deterioration, the surface facing the negative active material thin film 2 of at least the positive active material thin film 4 is divided into a plurality of minute areas 4A. Since formation of a deterioration region 2A in the negative active material thin film 2 is limited to the very small range, effect on capacity drop as the whole battery can be reduced.
