<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive resin printing plate original capable of forming a projecting relief image without requiring an original picture film, preventing a thermosensitive mask layer from being damaged on handling, and easily forming an image mask by laser irradiation, and to provide a method for manufacturing a resin letterpress printing plate using the original. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive resin printing plate original has a photosensitive resin layer (A) containing a resin soluble or dispersible in water or alcohol and a monomer curable by UV rays, a thermosensitive mask layer (C) containing an IR absorbing substance, a peel assisting layer (D) and a protective layer (E), layered in this order on a support, wherein the film thickness of the peel assisting layer (D) is no more than 0.3 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
