PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable electronic document management apparatus that can record time stamp attachment results. SOLUTION: The electronic document management apparatus, which manages a plurality of electronic documents saved with time stamps attached, comprises a time stamp acquisition part 106 for acquiring the time stamps to be attached to the electronic documents, an attachment part 118 for attaching the time stamps acquired by the time stamp acquisition part 106 to the electronic documents, a monitoring part 110 for determining whether or not the time stamps have been acquired successfully and whether or not the time stamps have been attached successfully in the attachment part 118, and a recording part 112 for recording the determination results in the monitoring part 110 for the electronic documents.
