PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion resistance evaluation method of metal material simulating an actual environment, the metal material, and a corrosion promotion testing device of the metal material. SOLUTION: Assuming one cycle as repetition of (A) a process of adhering salinity containing chloride ions to a surface of the metal material and (B) a drying process and wetting process of varying and setting the temperature and relative humidity to the metal material, the corrosion resistance of the metal material is evaluated by performing a process constituted by the process of performing at least one cycle one or more times. In the (A) process, the mean particle diameter of salt water adhering to the metal material is 1-300μm, the salinity adhesion amount is 0.1-10000 mg/m<SP>2</SP>, and the duration is 10 minutes or less.
