PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new form of [R-(R*, R*)]-2-(4-fluorophenyl)-β,δ-dihydroxy-5-(1-methylethyl)-3-phenyl-4-[(phenylamino)carbonyl]-1H-pyrrole-1H-magnesium heptanoate. SOLUTION: New forms of atorvastatin magnesium, exhibited as a form A, a form B, a form C, a form D, a form E and a form F, a pharmaceutical composition containing such compounds, a method for producing such compounds and a method for utilizing the compounds for treating hyperlipemia, hypercholesterol, osteoporosis, benign prostatic hyperplasia and Alzheimer's syndrome are described in the present invention.
