PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which can improve ice performance while securing dry road performance. SOLUTION: A tread part 3 is divided into a center area Ce, a mediate area Me, and a shoulder area Sh. Then a rubber hardness of tread rubber 10 is set so that the rubber hardness H1, H2, and H3 of a center area 11c, a mediate area 11m, and a shoulder area 11s, respectively, of a cap layer 11 and the rubber hardness H4, H5, and H6 of a center area 12c, a mediate area 12m, and a shoulder area 12s, respectively, of a base layer 12 can satisfy the relationship H4≥H5>H6>H1>H2≥H3.
