PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic vibration reduction structure of a muffler easy to set a comparatively large mass body, with little possibility of corrosion of the mass body and easy to adjust vibration characteristics. SOLUTION: It is possible to set the mass body 4 by making use of a comparatively large space in the circumference of at least one of stays 8 as the stays 8 are connected through the mass body buried in the inside of a hanger rubber 1 in the elastic vibration reduction structure of the muffler constituted by connecting the stays 8 extended from the car body side and the muffler side through the hanger rubber 1, and consequently, it is possible to improve possibility to adjust dislocation of resonance with the car body side by broadly selecting the vibration characteristics of the mass body 4 and to eliminate the possibility of damage and corrosion by burying the mass body in the inside of the hanger rubber 1 and to intercept its contact with outside.
