PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adherence of brake abrasion powder to a wheel for a vehicle. SOLUTION: The wheel 10 has a cylindrical rim 12, and a spokes 16 extended from an inner circumferential surface 13 of the rim 12 to a center disc 14. Small turbulent flow generating means such as dimples are formed in at least one of the inner circumferential surface 13 of the ring 12 and side wall parts 24 of the spoke 16. A boundary layer of an air flow flowing from the inside of the wheel 10 to the outside during traveling is transited from a laminar boundary layer to a turbulent boundary layer by the small turbulent flow generating means. Since the turbulent boundary layer is not susceptible to separation, the air flow can be merged into a travel wind outside a vehicle body, without significant turbulent air flow. Therefore, it is easy to discharge the brake abrasion powder to the outside on the air flow, so as to reduce the adherence of the brake abrasion powder to the wheel 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
