<p>An electric steering lock device comprises a worm wheel (8) which is rotated in an unlocking direction and a locking direction by driving a motor (6), a first cam part (9) and a second cam part (10) formed on the worm wheel (8), a lock member (11) shifting between a lock position and an unlock position following the first cam part (9), and a holding lever (12) which shifts between a wait position and a hold position following the second cam part (10). A part (24) to be detected is formed on the first cam part (9), and first and second position sensors (S1, S2) are installed on detect the part (24). The lock position and the unlock position of the lock member (11) are detected by outputs detected by the first position sensor (S1) and the second position sensor (S2).</p> |
