<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staircase structure capable of preventing the generation of noise at a low construction cost. <P>SOLUTION: A side plate 11 of a staircase is fixed to an adjacent wall surface 40 via a mounting fitting 20. The mounting fitting 20 is composed of an upper bracket 21, a lower bracket 22, and a rubber elastic material 23 which is mounted in a state of being sandwiched between both the brackets 21 and 22. The upper bracket 21 is fixed to the side plate 11, and the lower bracket 22 is fixed to the wall surface 40, so that the side plate 11 can be fixed to the wall surface 40 via the rubber elastic material 23. A rubber elastic material 30 is interposed between sections where the staircase and a floor surface 41 on a lower floor are brought into contact with each other.
