PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor capable of suppressing deterioration of appearance due to soldering by devising the shape of a casing. SOLUTION: The casing 20 of the resistor is provided with solder connection portions 25a for soldering a temperature fuse H. The soldering connection portions 25a are a projection portion projecting from the inside of the casing 20 to the outside, and can reservoir molten solder in a through hole side 25b side rather than its end portion 25d, and thus, the molten solder can be prevented from spreading in a portion around the end portion 25d.
