PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primary surface heat exchanger for use in a high-temperature environment, capable of attaining improvement in fuel efficiency by drift prevention or the like, improvement in working efficiency, and high durability to temperature cycle. SOLUTION: The primary surface heat exchanger comprises passages for distributing high-temperature fluid and low-temperature fluid which are alternately laminated and disposed using a primary heat transfer surface. The passage for distributing the high-temperature fluid or low-temperature fluid comprises a main passage part performing heat exchange and a distributor part dividing the fluid supplied from the inlet side to the main passage part and discharging the fluid collected from the main passage part to the outlet side, and the distributor part is constituted as an integrated unit with the main passage part by crushing work of the primary heat transfer surface, and includes one or two or more dimples.
