PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive oil-proof paper Ts having a high oil proofness in ruled line part, reducing cost by reducing the numbers of coating units by disposing a flexible layer R2 on a paper and then coating an oil proof layer R1 on the flexible layer in papermaking stage, and to provide a container produced by using the same. SOLUTION: The oil-proof paper being a sheet paper made by treating a fiber structure with a softener, wherein a water soluble resin is coated as the oil proofing layer R1 on the layer R2 treated with the softener.
