THE THERMOPHILIC LONG-CHAIN ALKANE MONOOXYGENASE AND ITS ENCODING GENE, AND THEIR USES

摘要

A novel thermophilic long-chain alkane monooxygenase and its encoding gene and their uses. The said monooxygenase's pI is 6.86, and its optimum temperature is 60 °C. Optimum pH is 7.5, molecular weight is about 50400 Dalton, which can oxidate the terminal methyl of C15 ~ C36 alkane to produce relevant monoalcohol. The said enzyme could be used broadly for treating the petroleum pollutant and petroleum waste as well as increasing microorganism petroleum recovery ratio.
