An unmanned observation camera and a back-focusing method thereof are provided to freely change a target according to user's intension or magnification of a high magnification lens module and obtain precise observation result in spite of the changes, thereby improving reliability of the unmanned observation. An unmanned observation camera includes a high magnification lens module(70) fixed to a front end of a moving plate(62) and aligned in x-axis direction facing a target. A base plate(82) stands along plane y-z formed of axis y, which is perpendicular to axis x and parallel to the moving plate, and axis z, which is perpendicular to axis y at a rear end of the high magnification lens module. The base plate is formed with a lens mounting hole(84) corresponding to the high magnification lens module. A sliding plate(92) is disposed at a rear end of the base plate in parallel thereto and formed with first and second camera mounting holes(94,96), which are respectively positioned in the center of axis y passing through the center of the lens mounting hole. First and second photographing units(152,154) are respectively fixed to the first and second camera mounting holes. A first sliding element(100) slides the base plate in the x-axis direction to move the first and second photographing units in addition to the sliding plate with respect to the high magnification lens module. A second sliding element(110) slides the sliding plate in the y-axis direction to align one of the first and second photographing units to the lens mounting hole and the high magnification lens module.
