NESTABLE BOX SPRING FOUNDATION

The invention provides a nestable box spring foundation having a generally rectangular perimeter divided into a plurality of rectangular openings by a grid of longitudinally and laterally extending wires. Support is provided by a pair of generally U-shaped wire members mounted at their ends to adjacent grid wires. The members are of simple configuration a nd accordingly inexpensive to manufacture, simple to attach such as by welding and by virtu e of their symmetry provide good lateral strength.
