<p>A pharmaceutical composition in a dosage form suitable for inhalation comprises a therapeutically isomer of a betamimetic agent or a salt, solvate, ester, derivative, or polymorph thereof substantially free of the less therapeutically effective isomer(s) of said agent and optionally an anti-cholinergic agent or a salt, solvate, ester, derivative, isomer or polymorph thereof. A preferred composition comprises R-salbutamol sulphate and ipratropium bromide. Methods of making the compositions of the invention are also provided.</p> |
