The die cutting device has a hollow cylindrical guide sleeve (12) containing a die stamping driver (16) and a die stamp (14) connected to one another at the ends by threaded sections. The die stamp driver is mounted in a defined axial position in the sleeve and is secured against rotation through a releasable lock which acts between the sleeve and driver. The driver has on its cylindrical outside sleeve face a socket such as a longitudinal groove (26) for the releasable lock which has a displaceable web or projection (28) engaging in and out of the groove. A removable disc-like stripper (18) is mounted on the lower end side of the guide sleeve and forms a sliding guide for the cutting edge (20) of the die stamp.
