Device has workpiece spindle (2) rotating around a rotation axle (R1) for the admission of the lens (1). The device has polishing tool (5) for the lens located on the workpiece spindle. The polishing tool and the workpiece spindle are supported in such a manner that they are brought relatively to each other into a position ensuring polishing procedure.
