<p>The filtration of sludge material from industrial- and municipal water comprises providing the sludge material on a filtering medium (5), filtering the sludge material by creating a pressure difference to form a filter cake at the sludge material and separating the filter cake from the filter medium by a separation unit. The filter cake is formed as a thin film (1) with a thickness of less than 2 mm. After the filtration, the film is subjected to a residual moisture reduction treatment by thermal drying. The separation speed of the film is controlled through a movement of the separation unit. A filter auxiliary layer (3) is formed on the filter medium in a defined thickness and/or a defined surfaces profile, before forming the film, through partial submersion of the filter medium into a suspension or solution that contains the filter auxiliary layer material, or through spraying of a suspension or solution on the filter medium. Before the filtration, rough solid particle or fiber-like material is added to the sludge material. The filtrate is subjected to a radiation treatment. The surface profile of the filter auxiliary layer is influenced by the adjustment units for the homogenization and/or pore smoothening of the filter medium. An independent claim is included for a filter device for filtration of sludge material from industrial and municipal waste water.</p> |
