The seat incorporates electromagnetic shielding material adapted to shield an operator of said motorcycle at least in part from electromagnetic energy produced thereby in use. The material, in the form of a layer 24 lies between a metal or plastics frame and a foam cushion supported by the frame and its extent generally corresponds to the periphery of the seat underside. The layer can comprise a single sheet or multiple sheets or foils optionally separated by non-conductive plastics or conductive material. The material is a magnetically soft hydrogen annealed high nickel bearing alloy. |
