Loudspeaker device for sonification inside a motor vehicle

The arrangement (1) has a loudspeaker that is controllable by an audio processor. The loudspeaker is designed as an electrostatic flat loudspeaker (2) with unidirectional radiation characteristics. The flat loudspeaker has devices for active and/or passive acoustic irradiation in a radiation direction opposite to a main radiation direction (5). The loudspeaker is arranged in a ceiling of a motor vehicle in an expandable manner. A frequency selective filter separates frequency portions of the sound, where the frequency portions are irradiated by a separated sub-woofer. An independent claim is also included for a method for acoustic irradiation in a motor vehicle.
