PURPOSE:To splice printing films quickly and firmly by approaching an air injector adapter to the film surfaces, at the same time injecting compressed air from an injector and compressing both film edges strongly. CONSTITUTION:At the position whereon a film 1 which has been fed and the following film 1' to be bound at the edge of said film are spliced, an upper and a lower frame body 4, 4' are provided pinching the films. Air cylinders 5, 5' operated by compressed air are provided respectively in both frame bodies 4, 4', air injecting hole adapters 6, 6' are installed so that they can move vertically and the operating levers 7, 7' of the air cylinders 5, 5' are equipped so that the adapters 6, 6' can move vertically. The mounting part of the splicing piece 8 is fixed to the upper or the lower surface and each air injecting hole 9, 9' is opened to the lower or the upper surface. Both air injector adapters 6, 6' are faced at some intervals to the films. The tip of the air cylinder 10 is fixed to each of both air injecting hole parts, 9, 9' so that compressed air can be sent from an air compressor 11. |
