<p>Panel, especially a laminate flooring panel, comprises a core (1) made from a wood material provided with an insulating layer (2) made from magnesium oxide and ammonium polyphosphate on its lower side. The insulating layer has a higher density than the core. An independent claim is also included for a process for preparing a board with a core made from wood material, especially MDF, HDF or OSB, comprising roughening the upper side of the core until the wood fibers protrude, impregnating the upper side of the core with a mixture of magnesium oxide and ammonium polyphosphate, and applying a cold-ceramic coating containing magnesium oxide and ammonium polyphosphate as insulating layer.</p> |
