<p>The device has a gripping unit (16) that consists of a thermoplastic material, where unit has a base plate (12). The plate is convertible from a flat shaped arrangement to a spatial form for receiving of excrement of a pet e.g. dog. A covering (14) is provided in which the gripping unit is insertable and sealable in an airtight manner after reception of the excrement. A slider (17) is provided for the gripper unit.</p>
