<p>A construction for additional/subsequent fixture of a pillar or stanchion has borings extending through the entire thickness of the end-cap, threaded rods extending over the entire length of the boring and jutting out of top and bottom of the boring , counter-plates for extensive introduction of force into the concrete of the end caps. Nuts on the upper and lower ends of the threaded rods allow pulling of the footplates of the pillars and the counter plates up to the end caps, to provide the required pre-stressing.</p> |
