PURPOSE:To eliminate an error of an indication and to improve the accuracy thereof by a method wherein the minus direction of an output of an A/D converter lowering from a reference value is detected on the digital output side of the converter, the polarity is inverted, and a digital indication output thus obtained is processed in a prescribed manner. CONSTITUTION:An output subjected to A/D conversion by an A/D converter 1 is sent into a polarity shifting circuit 3. Then, the shifting circuit 3 compares the output with a set reference value, and deliverse the output to a plus-side indication circuit 4 when it is smaller than the value, and to a minus-side indication circuit 5 when it is larger than the value. The circuits 4 and 5 count the plus and minus signals sent respectively from the circuit 3, and a negative value processing circuit 6 recevies a minus value output of the indication circuit 5, processing it in a prescribed manner and inverting the polarity thereof. Receiving the outputs of the crcuits 4 and 6, an indication shifting circuit 7 makes either one of the outputs indicated. By this system, one direction from the reference value can be detected, and a highly-accurate bidirectional indication with few errors is performed by digital processing. |
