A cabinet dryer (200) mounted on top of a washing machine (100) with drying function, has hot air inlet pipe (241) connected with a hot air supplying pipe of washing machine, for drying the laundry, by receiving air flowing along the hot air supplying pipe. A controller provided in any one of the washing machine and cabinet dryer, controls the washing machine and the cabinet dryer. An independent claim is included for method of controlling laundry device.
