<p>A component (1) has a semiconductor body (2) with several active regions (4a, 4b) that are spaced apart from each other and suitable for generating radiation, where the semiconductor component is provided for operating with an external resonator. A tunnel transition (5) is integrated monolithically in the semiconductor body between two active regions. Two active regions are electrical conductively connected by the tunnel transition, during operation of the semiconductor component.
