A waste toner collecting device and a color image forming apparatus with the waste toner collecting device are provided to prevent a waste toner from being hardened while being transferred to protect an image forming apparatus from contamination. A waste toner collecting device(200) includes a waste toner receiver(210), a waste toner transfer member(220), and a waste toner collecting case(230). The waste toner receiver receives a waste toner left on the surface of a photosensitive drum of an image forming apparatus. The waste toner transfer member transfers the waste toner contained in the waste toner receiver. The waste toner collecting case stores the waste toner transferred by the waste toner transfer member. The waste toner transfer member includes a transfer auger(223), a case(221), and a transfer belt(222). The transfer auger is located inside the waste toner receiver in the length direction. The case is placed between the waste toner receiver and the waste toner collecting case. The transfer belt has protruded wings formed on the outer face thereof at a predetermined interval.
