An inchworm actuator for a small machining device is provided to prevent deformation of an auxiliary housing through point-contact using a ball of a clamp. A small machining device includes a support board, a tool guide, and an inchworm actuator(3). The inchworm actuator includes upper and lower horizontal housings(31,32), a vertical housing(33), an auxiliary housing(34), a piezoelectric rod(35), and a clamp(36). The upper and lower horizontal housings have insertion holes, and both sides with horizontal through holes. The vertical housing is interposed between the upper and lower horizontal housings, and has an insertion hole. The auxiliary housing is fitted into the insertion holes of the upper and lower horizontal housings, and has a receiving space. The piezoelectric rod is inserted into the receiving space of the auxiliary housing and the insertion hole of the vertical housing. The clamp is inserted into the horizontal through holes of the upper and lower horizontal housings, and has a ball which point-contacts an end of the auxiliary housing when the auxiliary housing is stretched by the voltage applied from an external source.
