An anchor, which is secured in a bore with a mortar, has an anchor member located in the bore, a load application member projecting out of the bore, at least one mixing element for mixing components of the mortar, a drive element provided on the anchor member for setting in motion the at least one mixing element, and a trigger for actuati ng the drive element which automatically sets in motion the mixing member upon actuation of the trigger means.
