摘要

A multi-functional peripheral device is provided to scan a document transported along a transport path of print paper by installing a scanning unit in an assistant feeding unit. A multi-functional peripheral device body(10) includes an image forming part(11) and a feeding unit(12) for supplying print paper to the image forming part. An assistant feeding unit(20) is disposed at a lower part of the multi-functional peripheral device body. A scan unit(30) is installed in the assistant feeding unit so as to scan an image of a document transported along a paper path of the assistant feeding unit. A paper path switching unit(40) switches the paper path to a path through which the print paper is transported at an image forming mode and a path through which the document is transported at a scan mode.
