Invention herewith described refers to an external fixator of skeleton, by means of which is done setting of conventional wedges (24) and it is achieved in that there is no guide, along with the possiblity that the wedges (24) have three degrees of the freedom of movement, while the construction itself provides for equal threedimensional stability, where the assembly of the fixator has, as its features, one of being a highly adjustable, another of being suitable for compression and distraction and that it is suitable for manufacture and clinical application, as well.According to this invention it is necessary to place at least two wedges (24) in each fragment of the bone. The subject of the invention is in the construction of an assembly of a support (23) and a coupling (1). There are as many assemblies of this as the wedges (24) in number. Construction enables that the coupling (1) is slidingly movable and moves rotary around the body (25) of the support (23), and it is also allowed to carry out by means of the supports (23) that are, all by its circlar opening 26 on a cylindrical muff (32), that are drawn on a rod (21). Also, by opening (45) on an axle (2), couplings are drawn on the wedges (24) and set in different positions. By means of mutual adjustement of all the elements and by tightening a screw (30) it is achieved that the fixation of a support (23) to the coupling rod (21), by means of a nut (33) fixes the coupling (1) to the support (23) and the wedge (24), and herewith fixation of both bone fragments is achieved.
