A turbo lag reduction apparatus of a turbo charger is provided to increase the efficiency of the turbo charger through a magnetic bearing and reducing the loss by friction. In a turbo charger, a turbine rotated by the pressure of exhaust gas is formed on one side of a housing(110). A compressor for pressing intake air is connected to the turbine by a rotational shaft(130). A magnetic bearing floats and supports the rotational shaft by using an electromagnetic force to rotate the rotational shaft, with the rotational shaft maintaining the center of rotation. The magnetic bearing includes an electromagnet(151), a power source transfer unit, and a fixing member. The electromagnet floats and supports the rotational shaft. The power transfer unit supplies a current to the electromagnet so that the electromagnet can generate an electromagnetic force. The fixing member fixes the electromagnet to the housing.
