Provided is a mutant strain of Corynebacterium glutamicum having increased L-lysine production capability and kanamycin resistance. And a method for producing L-lysine using the same is provided to produce the L-lysine with high yield with lowered manufacturing cost through direct fermentation method. The corynebacterium genus microorganism has the L-lysine production capacity and resistance to kanamycin and is a mutant strain of Corynebacterium glutamicum KFCC10881 which has S-(2-aminoethyl)cysteine-resistance, alpha-amino-beta-hydroxyl valeric acid-resistance, methyllysine-resistance, sodium azide-resistance, homoserine extravasation property and leucine demanding property. The method comprises the steps of: (a) culturing the microorganism; and (b) recovering L-lysine from the culture material obtained from the step(a).
