A double damping fly wheel is provided to enhance performance of double attenuation fly wheels and to extend a duration life thereof by mounting a torsional damper between two flay wheels. A double damping fly wheel includes two coaxial inertia fly wheels(10,12) and a distortion damper(16). The two coaxial inertia fly wheels are centrally maintained by a bearing. One of the two coaxial inertia fly wheels is guided on a remaining one thereof. The distortion damper is disposed between the two coaxial inertia fly wheels. The distortion transfers a rotation torque from the one of the two coaxial inertia fly wheels is guided on the remaining one thereof. Stoppers(26,28) are fixed to the two coaxial inertia fly wheels. The distortion damper includes at least a pair of swings(18,20). The at least a pair of swings are radially disposed between the stoppers.
