Provided are a membrane electrode assembly for fuel cell to increase the reaction area of a polymer electrolyte membrane and to improve the interface adhesive strength between a polymer electrolyte membrane and an electrode and the interface adhesive strength between a catalyst layer of an electrode and an electrode base, its preparation method, and a fuel cell system containing the membrane electrode assembly. The membrane electrode assembly(10) comprises an anode and a cathode(20, 20') which face each other; and a polymer electrolyte membrane(50) which has a pattern and is located between the anode and the cathode, wherein at least one of the anode and the cathode comprises an electrode base(40, 40') comprising a crosslinked polymer layer formed from a monomer having a double bond and a crosslinking agent, and a catalyst layer(30, 30') formed on the electrode base. The catalyst layer is crosslinked with the interface of the electrode base. |
