A NEW STRAIN HIGHLY PRODUCING PDGF-BB, AND A SECRETIVE PROTEIN FOR THE STRAIN

A yeast is provided to increase the productivity of platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF) by using a trans-type secretion factor which helps protein folding and extracellular expression during the production of the PDGF using an yeast expression system, thereby reducing manufacturing cost. The yeast producing and secreting PDGF-B with high efficiency is characterized in that it is co-transformed by a PDGF-B gene and a protein gene coded by SEQ ID : NO. 9 as a secretion factor. In the yeast, the PDGF-B gene and the secretion factor gene are existent in a vector different from each other. The yeast is Y2805Deltagall//pYGMF-PB/pACT2.
