Data driving method and apparatus of a liquid crystal display panel are provided to minimize voltage variation in a pixel electrode located at edge of each pixel block by precharging the data signal corresponding to the most adjacent data line to the present pixel block in the next pixel block when driving each pixel block, and then recharging the same data level as the precharge voltage level when driving the next pixel block. A data driving apparatus of a liquid crystal display panel includes a liquid crystal panel and a data driving unit. The liquid crystal panel(40) includes a plurality of data blocks composed of n numbered data lines. When a data signal is applied to a first data block of the liquid crystal panel, the data driving unit(30) precharges a first data line of a second data block adjacent to the first data block through a predetermined data signal. The predetermined data signal is the same as the data signal supplied to the first data line of the second data block when data signals are applied to the second data block.
