Described is a mouth rinse based on a homeopathic drug including Echinacea angustifolia in its 2D dilution, which effectively acts against plaque, gingivitis and halitosis. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a mouth rinse totally different from those currently available on the market due to the Echinacea angustifolia action that is enhanced upon turning the same into a homeopathic preparation, concentration doses being reduced and having an extended effect (the effect lasting up to two weeks after the last application thereof), the solution also including the advantages of various mouth rinse products currently available on the market but having a reduced number of active substances in its formulation. The present mouth rinse for treating gingivitis is a homeopathic solution which main active substance includes Echinacea angustifolia 2D, which is obtained by mixing one volume of mother dye, two volumes of distillated water, seven volumes of alcohol 87 degree and 100 succussi ons (shakes).
