A base for a circular lamp, a circular fluorescent lamp, and a lighting fixture. The base for the circular lamp comprises a hollow base body (3o) installable across both end parts of the bulbs of the circular lamp. The base body comprises a first base member (7) having a recessed part (7a) formed in the outer surface thereof, base pins (7o) vertically installed on the bottom part (7b) of the recessed part so that their outer ends are not projected from the outer surface of the base body to the outside and connectable to leads led from the bulbs, and a pair of communication grooves communicating with the recessed part in the circular diameter direction of the bulbs and a second base member (8) having a pair of locking projected parts (8c) and (8d) disposed to be projected from the pair of communication grooves by combining them with the first base member. Thus, the leads of the bulbs can be easily, securely, and rapidly connected to the base pins by caulking the base pins, and a damage to the base pins such as deformation in transportation and packaging can be prevented from occurring or its possibility can be lowered.
