A flat panel display for temperature control is provided to decrease power consumption due to cooling of the flat panel display by adjusting the temperature of the display which is changed by image data signals. In a flat panel display for temperature control, there is provided a control unit(400) for comparing inputted image data signals with preset image data signals and outputting the amount of the data signals. A cooling control unit(500) adjusts the cooling temperature corresponding to the amount of the data signals. A data driving unit(300) applies the inputted image data signals to the control unit. A scan driving unit(200) applies scan signals corresponding to the inputted image data signals to the control unit. A cooling unit(600) cools the flat panel display to the adjusted temperature.
