Provided is a fuel cell system to allow water to be supplied from a water tank to a reformer stably without the deterioration of reformation efficiency at a reformer. The fuel cell system comprises an electricity generation part(10) which generates electricity by the electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen; a reformer(140) which supplies the reformed gas to the electricity generation part; a fuel supply container(110) which supplies the compressed fuel containing hydrogen to the reformer; an air supply part(130) which supplies a gas containing oxygen to the electricity generation part; a water tank(150) which supplies water to the reformer; and an auxiliary container(160) where fluid can flow so as to apply the vapor pressure of the compressed fuel flowing from the fuel supply container to the water tank between the fuel supply container and the water tank.
